Let’s be real. We all went to Marvel Stadium last weekend to see Jett and Hunter Lawrence smash it on home turf. The energy was insane, and the 4-strokes were deafening.
But in between the pro motos, something else happened. The noise dropped, but the adrenaline didn't. Surron rolled out a grid of Hyperbees for a demo race, and honestly? It was one of the highlights of the night.

Silent But Deadly Serious
Usually, "demo race" translates to "parade lap." Not this time.
Watching 8 riders rip these electric bikes around a legit Supercross track was eye-opening. The first thing you notice is the agility. Because the Hyperbee clocks in at just over 90 lbs (41kg), the riders were throwing them around with zero effort. The corner speed was ridiculous, and that instant electric torque meant they were clearing jumps and attacking rhythm sections way harder than you’d expect from an "entry-level" bike.

The "Fun Factor" is Real
Seeing the Hyperbee handle a pro-level track proves one thing: the chassis and suspension are the real deal. It’s not just a pit bike; it’s a proper platform. It looked flickable, punchy, and most importantly, incredibly fun.
Over at the Come Ride Zone, the vibe was just as strong. While the pros were battling inside, the Surron tent was packed with people wanting to get a feel for the throttle. It’s bridging the gap—getting new riders on two wheels without the intimidation factor of a gas bike.
The Verdict
The AUSX Open was historic for Aussie motocross. But for the electric scene, the Hyperbee made a massive statement. It showed that you don't need 450cc to have a blast on a dirt track.
If you’re looking for a bike that rips on the trails but is chill enough for the backyard, the Hyperbee just proved it can handle whatever you throw at it.
